Cleansing: Bury your obsidian in soil for 24 hours. Light of the full moon overnight. Use a singing bowl. Hold under running water while thinking or speaking cleansing thoughts. (Important: Cleanse at least once per week when actively using Obsidian. It is a protective stone and must be cleansed of impurities and negativity frequently for it to effectively protect.) Saturday is the best day to cleanse your obsidian as it will receive a boost from Saturn.
